As a land use lawyer, Sean has represented investors, developers, and owners in securing a wide range of entitlements and approvals for a broad range of real estate product types in numerous jurisdictions. He focuses on Housing Element law and new state laws that streamline the approval of high-density multi-family developments, and also has broad competency in a variety of environmental and land use areas, helping clients to comply with or amend project approval conditions or zoning regulations, craft legal arguments that can be made to local governments or courts, and negotiate development agreements and lease agreements. He understands the inner workings of local governments and advises clients on how to best navigate their relevant regulatory concerns.
In each instance, Sean prioritizes the real bottom-line issues that impact his clients’ most pressing concerns, focusing on specific answers to specific problems. He utilizes the law to his client’s advantage so that they can reach their highest business goals.
