Ralph Allen has more than 30 years of experience working in professional service organizations including law firms, consulting firms, and advertising and marketing communications firms. Ralph also has more than 15 years of experience in executive management, operations and finance positions. He has a proven and consistent track record of increasing sales, revenues and profits. He is seasoned in operational and financial analysis, business strategy and planning, and establishing policies, processes, and performance monitoring systems in achieving established goals.
As Chief Operating Officer at Allen Matkins, Ralph leads a team that is responsible for firm infrastructure, including information technology, marketing communications, public relations, business development, human resources, legal and risk management, finance and accounting, and procurement and facilities. He strives to develop and promote a unified culture and infrastructure, enterprise accountability and coordination for all firm locations and practices.
Before joining Allen Matkins, Ralph held several senior level positions, including Managing Director of Operations - The Americas at Squire Patton Boggs, Chief Operating Officer at Patton Boggs LLP, both Chief Operating Officer, and Chief of Practice Group Operations at Howrey LLP, General Manager at FTI Consulting, Inc., both Director of Finance & Administration and Controller at Jackson and Campbell, Assistant Controller at Hogan Lovells LLP and Senior Financial Analyst at Wilmer Hale, LLP.
