On-Campus Recruiting FAQs

When can I apply for the summer program?

We begin accepting summer program applications from second year law students in July. As part of the recruiting process, we also participate in several on-campus events beginning in late August through early September.

How should I apply for the summer program?

Students at schools where we participate in on-campus interviews should submit resumes to their Career Services Office. Other students may submit their cover letter, resume and transcript by email to the Director of Legal Recruiting at joinus@allenmaktins.com directly, specifying in which office they are interested.

Are the on-campus interviews office-specific?

All on-campus interview schedules are firm-wide schedules, meaning our interviewers are interviewing for the entire firm. Students will be asked to identify which office they have an interest in and our interviewers will do their best to accommodate the request.

What if I didn't get an on-campus interview with your firm?

If you were unable to secure an interview slot during the on-campus bidding process, students are welcome to drop off their resume and transcript with an Allen Matkins interviewer during the on-campus visit.
