Biography

David C. Bolstad is a partner in the firm's Los Angeles office. David's practice covers a broad spectrum of real estate related litigation, including disputes relating to purchase and sale contracts, secured loan transactions, construction defects on private and public works projects, judicial and non-judicial foreclosures, receiverships, mechanic's lien claims, land use, easements and rights of way, commercial leases, encroachments, and fraudulent conveyances. David also has significant experience in ADA litigation, consumer class actions, labor and employment litigation, and insurance coverage actions. He has represented large national and international companies such as ING Clarion, Prudential Insurance Company of America, Pebblebrook Hotel Trust, Wells Fargo Bank, General Growth, and Westfield of America, Inc., in a wide variety of cases in federal and state courts.

Education

David received his J.D., Order of the Coif, from Loyola Law School Los Angeles, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Journal. During law school, he also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Robert M. Takasugi in the U.S. District Court, Central District of California. David received his MBA from Loyola Marymount University and his undergraduate degree from California State University, Long Beach.
