Biography
Anton L. Hasenkampf is an associate in the firm's San Francisco office, where he focuses on general business litigation, creditors rights and lending related litigation. Anton has successfully defended dozens of lawsuits brought by defaulting borrowers seeking damages and to enjoin and/or set aside trustee’s sales, primarily on demurrers and motions to dismiss, and has defeated numerous applications for temporary restraining orders and/or preliminary injunctions. Anton has also assisted clients by obtaining the appointment of a receiver for multiple commercial properties, protecting lenders’ interests pending non-judicial foreclosure, negotiating favorable settlements (including pro-bono clients) and drafting an attorneys’ fees motion resulting in an award of more than $2 million.
Education
Anton received his B.A. in philosophy from Dartmouth College in 2006. In 2009, he received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, graduating first in his class. While in law school, Anton was a member of Hastings Law Journal in 2007 and earned numerous Witkin Awards for Academic Excellence. Anton externed for the Honorable Carlos Bea of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
