Biography
Felicia M. Hernandez is a junior paralegal in the San Diego office supporting the litigation team in the following practice areas: Construction Defect, Labor & Employment, Real Estate and Bankruptcy. She obtains and reviews discovery documents using the latest document review/production software and repositories. Felicia assists in drafting discovery and motion requests and responses, obtains title reports and real estate documents, and assists in the preparation of trial. She handles case accounting and successfully coordinates with the insurance carriers to pay consultant and litigation fees. She also works with e-discovery and assisting clients with the retention of documents in preparation for litigation.
Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Felicia worked at DLA Piper with the Trust & Estates group.
Felicia enjoys the outdoors, traveling and culture, and volunteering her time with the local hospitals.
Community Activities
- San Diego Alumnae Panhellenic Association, an organization that raises scholarship funds for high school and collegiate women who would like to attend a four-year institution which has NPC sororities/women's fraternities on campus, fundraising chair
- Alpha Omicron Pi, local sorority alumnae chapter, board member
Education
Felicia obtained her B.A. in telecommunications with an emphasis in design and production from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, and earned her paralegal certificate from the University of San Diego.
