Biography
Stephen J. Kepler is a partner in the firm's Orange County office where he handles business litigation and employment litigation matters. Stephen’s litigation experience includes handling cases at all levels of both state and federal courts. He also represents clients at mediations and arbitrations. In the employment arena, Stephen represents employers and management in connection with a wide variety of matters, including wage and hour class actions, wrongful termination, harassment, and discrimination lawsuits. In the business litigation arena, Stephen provides expertise in a range of issues including business torts, contract disputes, trade secrets, interference claims, non-competition issues, unfair competition, and intellectual property disputes. His focus and goal is to accomplish rapid and successful results for clients who prefer not to waste resources in litigation. Since 1997, Stephen has been on the faculty of the Merage School of Business at the University of California at Irvine, where he teaches courses in Business Law for M.B.A. students.
Education
Stephen earned his B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles and his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law at Boalt Hall.
