Biography
Andrew E. Miller is a partner in the Los Angeles Litigation practice group. He specializes in banking litigation and has successfully represented banks and the FDIC in numerous cases involving federal preemption, TILA/RESPA, various state-law claims, loan modifications and reverse mortgages. Andy also handles complex commercial litigation, which has included consignee litigation, including a jury trial, for a national cookie-and-bakery company; a jury trial involving a multi-million-dollar movie-theater lease; an arbitration involving data services and satellite-television installations at universities, prisons, and military bases; a dispute over shipping of auto parts from China; civil RICO litigation; a Talent Agencies Act proceeding before the Labor Commissioner involving a $10 million claim; and trials and arbitrations of various disputes concerning real estate.
Education
Andy received his J.D. from Duke Law School in 1995 and his B.A. from Tufts University in 1991.
