Biography
Amy Morgenstern is an associate in our San Francisco office's Labor and Employment Group. Amy represents national and regional employers in state and federal court, in arbitration, and before administrative agencies on both labor and employment matters, including unfair labor practices, discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims.
Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Amy was an associate at Littler Mendelson, P.C.
Education
Amy earned her J.D. from Stanford Law School in 2009. During law school, she assisted Professor William Gould, former Chairman of the National Labor Relations Board, in organizing an international labor law conference for labor law practitioners. Also while in law school, she contributed to her community by providing employment law services through the Community Law Clinic in East Palo Alto. Amy interned at the Community Legal Services of East Palo Alto housing project, the Bay Area Legal Aid domestic violence pro bono project, and the New York City Commission on Human Rights, Law Enforcement Bureau. She was the recipient of the Stanford Women Lawyers Scholarship in 2007-2008.
Amy received her B.A. in English Literature, cum laude, from Harvard University in 2006.
