Biography
Sarina Saluja is an associate in the firm's Los Angeles office practicing in the firm's Litigation and Bankruptcy & Creditor's Rights Groups. In addition to general business litigation, Sarina has experience in Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 litigation; complex commercial litigation; lending-related and construction-related litigation, and state and federal court appeals. Sarina has argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and federal and state courts throughout California.
Examples of Sarina's recent experience include:
- Represented one of the nation's largest mortgage lenders in multiple commercial litigation matters, in both state and federal courts; and
- Represented court-appointed permanent receivers in connection with multiple securities fraud actions.
Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Sarina practiced in the Litigation department of the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster LLP.

Education
Sarina received her B.A. in economics and legal studies from the University of California, Berkeley in 2003. In 2007, she received her J.D. from University of California, Hastings College of Law, where she served as Articles Editor for the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review. Sarina also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Martin J. Jenkins when he presided in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California.
