Biography
Robert C. Shaia is a litigator in the Orange County office. His practice covers many types of business and real estate matters. Robert has significant experience in litigating construction-related matters, such as construction defect and mechanics' liens claims, and litigating various types of leasing disputes, including unlawful detainers. Robert also frequently litigates before the California Courts of Appeal.
Robert is a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to joining Allen Matkins, he was with Ernst & Young, LLP as a senior auditor conducting financial statement audits of various public and private companies. Robert is currently a member of the Ernst & Young Alumni Advisory Council.

Education
Robert received his J.D. from Loyola Law School Los Angeles, in 2003, where he was awarded Order of the Coif, and where he was a member of the Loyola Law Review. He served as an extern for the Honorable Dickran Tevrizian, of the U.S. District Court, Central District of California. Robert received his B.A. in both accounting and economics from California State University, Fullerton, graduating with highest honors.
