Biography

Suzanne E. Skov has broad experience obtaining, preserving and defending permits and approvals at the federal, state and local levels. Suzanne's practice includes advising clients concerning strategies and processing under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA), and federal and state environmental resources laws and regulations, climate change, and green building regulations.

Suzanne's practice includes representation of clients in various real estate transactions, including purchase and sales, leases, foreclosures and REO work. She has extensive experience handling legal due diligence. Her transactional experience includes representation of buyers, sellers and lenders.

Suzanne represents landowners and developers in litigation concerning business disputes and suits brought challenging land use entitlements and approvals under CEQA and California planning and zoning laws.

Suzanne received her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2004, where she received the Irvin J. Kahn Award for Excellence in Real Property Courses, and her B.A. from California State University, Long Beach in 1996.
