Biography

David Stone is senior counsel based in our Los Angeles office. His practice concentrates on real estate transactions, with an emphasis on commercial lease transactions. David represents both landlords and tenants in a wide variety of office, retail, industrial, medical, shopping center and mixed-use projects throughout California, Colorado, Washington and various other states. In the past sevent years, David has completed commercial leasing transactions totaling more than six million square feet, representing both large institutional investors and small family-owned companies. In addition to commercial lease transactions, David has extensive experience in the acquisition, disposition, finanicng and development of commercial office portfolios, as well as retail and industrial centers located throughout the United States.

David has spoken on expert panels for BOMA's Regional Market Update examining market conditions in office leasing and has guest lectured at the University of Southern California's Graduate School of Real Estate Development.

Education

David received his B.A., cum laude , from the University of Pennsylvania, College of Arts and Sciences in 2001. He went on to obtain his J.D., from Loyola Law School Los Angeles in 2004. During law school, David served as the Articles Editor for the Loyola Law Review. He was also on the dean’s list and received a Loyola Scholar Scholarship.
