Results of Second Annual LEED/Green Building Survey to be
Presented at Construction SuperConference
Survey of Nearly 1000 Professionals Involved in Green Building
SAN FRANCISCO – Dec. 11, 2007 – Allen Matkins
Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis LLP and CTG Forensics, Inc. will
present results of the second annual LEED/Green Building Survey
at the upcoming Construction SuperConference in San Francisco.
The survey gauges
the opinions of professionals involved in Green Building and LEED
Certification. The results of the survey will reveal the number
of projects with which professionals and their organizations have
been involved, the biggest risks associated with those projects,
measures being taken to reduce the cost of LEED/green building certification
relative to total project costs, and the main variables affecting
the cost of the projects. Design professionals, developers and project
owners, contractors/subcontractors, claims professionals, consultants,
attorneys, among others, participated in the survey which was additionally
distributed by the Green
Building Insider newsletter.
The scope of the survey has been expanded from previous years and
is co-sponsored by CTG Forensics. The online publication Green
Building Insider will be publishing the results and follow up
articles to their readers.
Bryan Jackson and Mike Cathcart of the Los Angeles office of Allen
Matkins and William R. Broz, P.E., vice president and general manager
of CTG Forensics, Inc. will present the survey results. Their presentation,
“Building Green: Risks If You Do and Risks If You Don’t,”
will take place on December 14 at 2 p.m. at the SuperConference.
The Construction SuperConference, now in its 22nd year, is recognized
