Governmental Advocacy

Allen Matkins' governmental advocacy practice focuses on providing clients with strategic advice and guidance in all areas of governmental affairs and public contract management. Additionally, we assist in the preparation and submittal of responses to requests for proposals for governmental contracts, as well as the management and administration of the advocacy and compliance aspects of any public process. Our clients have included airlines, casinos, hotels, developers, agribusiness interests, telecommunications companies, cable service providers and governmental agencies themselves. In this arena, we are often able to affect the administrative, legislative or policy determination at issue in a manner which provides our clients with a competitive advantage in their business ventures. Through our strong relationships at both state and local levels of government, we not only react to governmental intervention, but anticipate and strategically avoid and, when necessary, solve, bureaucratic and legislative impasses to our clients' commercial activities.
