Recently completed hospitality and resort transactions which are representative of those handled by Allen Matkins include the following acquisitions, dispositions and resolutions.

Acquisitions: (i) the acquisition and financing of an internationally renowned, premier 300+ room ocean-front resort hotel in Hawaii; (ii) the acquisition and financing of the nationally celebrated Biltmore Resort & Spa of Arizona, with a transaction value of over $350,000,000; (iii) the acquisition of a prominent luxury resort hotel in the San Francisco Bay area; (iv) the acquisition and joint development of a 1,500 acre master planned golf course community in Arizona and the separate acquisition and joint development of a 1,500 acre master planned community in Fountain Hills, Arizona.

Dispositions and resolutions: (i) the disposition of a multi-state hotel portfolio comprised of eleven hotel properties; (ii) the disposition of the Sheraton Grande Torrey Pines golf resort; (iii) the disposition of a boutique hotel in Aspen, Colorado, two years following the Allen Matkins assisted acquisition of the same; and (iv) the settlement of ongoing buy/sell litigation between development partners, together with the liquidation of the financial partner's investment in a 20,000 acre golf/residential project located in Monterey, California.
