Kathryn "Kit" Garcin

Kit regularly advises clients on the formation and operation of private investment funds, real estate syndications, joint ventures, and other strategic partnerships. She works closely with clients to design and implement ownership and management structures that balance business goals, investor protections, and regulatory requirements.

In her corporate finance and transactional practice, Kit assists clients with equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, and bespoke transactions involving unique asset classes and operational frameworks, including water rights, electric vehicle charging facilities, and complex multi-entity governance arrangements.

Kit also advises clients on intellectual property matters across industries, including the drafting and negotiation of software-as-a-service (SaaS) agreements, technology licenses, and other commercial contracts. She brings extensive experience developing practical contract solutions for novel business models and emerging technologies.

Her practice further includes advising clients on data privacy and information governance issues that intersect with their broader business operations.
