Garrett Jansma

Clients rely on Garrett’s strong track record in both federal and state courts, as well as before key regulatory agencies. He has successfully represented companies in high-stakes litigation and enforcement matters involving: alleged improper hazardous waste disposal; use and discharge of regulated substances; citizen suits under the Clean Water Act; California Air Resources Board enforcement; and Proposition 65 claims.

Before joining Allen Matkins, Garrett served as in-house environmental counsel, environmental compliance team manager, and global environmental policy program manager for one of the world’s largest data center companies. This hands-on experience gives him unique insight into the development and operational challenges his clients face, particularly in the fast-evolving technology and infrastructure sectors.

Garrett began his legal career at an AmLaw 100 firm, where he honed his skills in environmental litigation and compliance. Today, he brings that depth of experience and a results-driven mindset to every client engagement.
