Julia Liu
Associate
Julia is a real estate associate in the Orange County office. Her practice focuses on common interest developments, subdivision regimes, and commercial real estate matters. Julia advises developers, builders, lenders, and investors on a broad range of issues related to the development, acquisition, and disposition of commercial, industrial, master-planned residential, and mixed-use assets.
Julia assists clients with the structuring and implementation of common interest developments, including the preparation and negotiation of covenants, conditions and restrictions (CC&Rs) and other legal management and governing instruments. She also helps clients evaluate compliance with federal, state, and local laws affecting development projects and community governance, including the Davis-Stirling Act and the current regulations and guidelines imposed by the California Department of Real Estate.
In addition, Julia has experience representing clients in connection with real estate acquisition and disposition transactions.
Before joining Allen Matkins, she interned with an international law firm, where she focused on cross-border transactions matters.
Julia is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese.
