David Magruder
Associate
David is a real estate associate in the Los Angeles office who assists with transactional matters.
He brings a strong background in commercial real estate finance to his practice, having served as an associate with a prominent commercial real estate private lender before law school. In this role, he focused on investment management, regulatory compliance, loan origination, and financing facilities.
While in law school, David was selected as a Business Law Fellow and served as the co-president of the Real Estate Law Society. He also clerked at Allen Matkins, primarily assisting the real estate finance team.
Before law school, David served as a member of City Year Los Angeles, mentoring and tutoring 8th grade students and advising on academic interventions. Now, David proudly serves as the co-chair on the Associates Board of Directors for City Year Los Angeles.
