Ethan Nocera

Ethan is an associate in the San Francisco office and a member of the Land Use, Environmental, and Natural Resources group. His practice focuses on environmental litigation, including experience with a variety of federal and state statutes, Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) cost-recovery and contribution actions, and other claims related to environmental contamination such as trespass, negligence, and nuisance.

While attending the UC Law San Francisco, Ethan studied energy and environmental law and served as an Executive Editor for the Hastings Environmental Law Journal. He also worked as a legal intern at the Energy Futures Initiative in Washington, D.C., where he focused his research on large-scale carbon sequestration. Prior to law school, Ethan worked at the Natural Resources Defense Council in New York City.
