Kate O'Reilly-Jones is an associate in the Los Angeles office and a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment practice group. She defends clients in high-stakes labor and employment matters, including harassment, discrimination, and wrongful termination claims and wage and hour class actions.

Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Kate was a litigation associate at a global AmLaw 100 firm, where she advised corporate entities and non-profits on complex labor and employment issues, tort claims, and contract disputes. She also provided counsel to top-tier technology, media, and finance companies navigating high-profile federal investigations brought by the U.S. Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, and Federal Trade Commission.

During her time at Columbia Law School, Kate distinguished herself as a James Kent Scholar, an editor of the Journal of Law & Social Problems, and co-president of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund.
