Ronald R. Rossi

Partner

Ron Rossi is a nationally recognized first-chair trial lawyer who represents companies, boards of directors, developers, insurers, and senior executives in high-stakes litigation, arbitration, and internal investigations throughout the United States.

Clients turn to Ron when significant business, financial, operational, or reputational interests are at stake. He has successfully tried cases before juries, judges, and arbitration panels, led disputes involving hundreds of millions—and in some instances billions—of dollars in claimed exposure, and advised leadership teams confronting complex business crises. Ron is known for quickly mastering complicated factual and legal issues, developing practical litigation strategies, and bringing credibility with courts, arbitrators, and decision-makers.

Recognized by The Legal 500, Benchmark Litigation, and Lawdragon as a leading litigator, Ron has been described by clients as an “excellent litigator” who “absorbs information and issues at lightning speed,” “generates both judicial and client confidence,” and provides “invaluable perspective” in complex disputes.

Ron's practice spans a broad range of significant matters, including complex commercial litigation, real estate disputes, insurance coverage and reinsurance, technology and software implementation litigation, corporate governance disputes, internal investigations, and cross-border controversies involving domestic and international businesses.

Ron served as a law clerk to the Honorable Virgil Pittman of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Alabama.

Before entering private practice, Ron served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy and was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for exemplary performance during combat operations in the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Desert Storm.

Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Ron was a partner at a nationally recognized Am Law firm.
