Jordan is an associate in the San Francisco office and a member of the Land Use, Environment, and Natural Resources Group. Her practice encompasses various aspects of the commercial real estate development process, including acquisition, due diligence, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliance, entitlements, and permitting. While she advises on land use matters for various types of development, Jordan specializes in high-density residential and mixed-use development and closely follows emerging state housing legislation.

Jordan also helps clients navigate California's complex regulatory landscape, advising in an array of environmental matters brought under federal and state environmental laws, such as the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Hazardous Substance Account Act, the Hazardous Waste Control Law, and the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986.

During law school, Jordan wrote a paper titled, "California's Builder's Remedy: A View from the Legislative History." Her original scholarship was published in Volume 46 of the UC Davis Environmental Law and Policy Journal and has been cited as useful authority on the now-popular and widely used "Builder's Remedy." Additionally, during law school she externed with the California Department of Justice's Environment and Natural Resources Division.
