AB 2501: Updates to Density Bonus Law

Daily Journal (January 18, 2017) In September, Gov. Jerry Brown signed four bills relating to the construction of affordable and market-rate housing. The most prominent, Assembly Bill 2501, makes a number of changes to the State Density Bonus Law (DBL), Gov. Code Sections 65915, 69515.5. David Blackwell and Timothy Hutter wrote an article in the Daily Journal’s annual “New California Laws” special report outlining these changes.
