ACC-SD Brown Bag: Hot Button Leasing Issues and the Eviction Process

Speaking Engagement

When

6.02.16

Where

San Diego, California

The program covers “hot button leasing issues” that tenants need to be aware of when negotiating with landlords, and how to effectively navigate the eviction process when necessary. When brokers are helping clients find office, industrial or retail space for their new, expanding or relocating business, it's important to understand the many nuances in leases that could end up playing favor to the landlord, rather than the tenant. Cost controls, operating expenses, subordination and non-disturbance, assignment and subletting, work letter issues, expansion rights, and many other issues will all come into play. It’s also important to understand both sides’ rights when eviction becomes a worst-case scenario.
