San Francisco, California

San Francisco is a city built on the back of innovators (from Levi Strauss to Mark Zuckerberg) and as its tech sector grows bigger and bolder than ever (see: Lyft’s IPO, Uber’s upcoming IPO, and Slack’s upcoming Direct IPO), the city has a challenge. The usual suspects (Twitter, Pinterest, AirBnB etc.) are maintaining their position atop the tech totem pole while upstarts (Slack, Lyft among them) vie for said position. As a result the office space, like the city’s housing market and surface streets, is crowded.
