David Blackwell was quoted in an article about affordable housing planned for Corte Madera. The Town Council unanimously denied an appeal against a 100% affordable housing project in the town. David is representing the developer of the project. He said, "Because of the housing crisis, because it's so hard to build here, because we have such a deficit in housing here in California, the state laws have been strengthened. This is the new reality. The bottom line is, if you don't approve the project, it's a violation of state law." You can view the hearing here (David's presentation starts at 1:22).
