Orange County Law Firms Mentor Students Through Project SELF

Allen Matkins once again participated in the Project SELF program and mentored two students – Paulina Jaimes of Segerstrom Fundamental High School and Evelyn Trejo of Godinez Fundamental High School. Project SELF is an internship program for Santa Ana high school students between their junior and senior years to work in Orange County law firms for the summer. This year, 59 students worked for eight weeks in 50 area law firms. These students learn how the firm operates, sit in on meetings, help with filing, watch court hearings and get to exposure to the benefits of higher education.
