Silicon Valley Business Journal (July 24, 2014) With offices, apartments and industrial buildings going up all over Silicon Valley, are developers starting to sour on the region's real estate prospects? Not yet. That's according to the semiannual Allen Matkins/UCLA Anderson Forecast Commercial Real Estate Survey. "People are longer-term optimistic. The numbers about job growth are supporting that," said John Tipton, a partner in Allen Matkins' Century City office. "And we're all reaping the benefits of low interest rates."
