Revived Real Estate Market a Boon for Transactional Attorneys

December 30, 2015 (Daily Journal) The real estate market is booming in California, an ideal time for real estate lawyers who can handle many deals at once. Tony N. Natsis, chair of the real estate department at Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis LLP, said the real estate firm is seeing a larger volume of commercial transactions this year than it had even in the run-up to the recession. The difference this time, however, is that the trend is marked by large numbers of good-sized transactions, Natsis said. He added that he also isn't seeing the same debt or financing that went along with previous acquisitions due to the "bloodletting" at firms that went along with the recession.
