Sonia Ransom and Pamela Andes to be Honored At Women of Influence in Real Estate Awards Ceremony

LOS ANGELES – Oct. 16, 2008 – Sonia Ransom and Pamela Andes, partners of Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis LLP, will be honored by Real Estate Southern California at their annual Women of Influence awards ceremony on November 13.

Ransom will be one of three women being inducted into the "Women of Influence Hall of Fame" during the ceremony. For the past five years, she was named as one of Real Estate Southern California's “Most Influential Women in Commercial Real Estate.” Ransom, who is based in Allen Matkins' San Francisco office, is highly regarded for her extensive experience in land use and redevelopment. Her work in land use matters includes developing entitlement strategies for commercial, industrial, and residential projects in numerous Southern and Northern California jurisdictions.

Andes will be honored among the “Most Influential Women in Commercial Real Estate.” She is a partner in Allen Matkins' Orange County office. Her projects have included redevelopments on former aerospace sites, superfund sites, former manufacturing sites, operating oil and gas fields, former refineries, and closed military bases for residential, commercial, and industrial reuse.

The 9th Annual Women of Influence Awards will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at The City Club of Bunker Hill in Los Angeles. The event will honor women throughout the region for their "contribution.
