Governmental Advocacy

Public Contracts

Our governmental advocacy practice provides clients with strategic advice and guidance in all areas of government affairs and public contract management at the local, state and federal levels.

Our public procurement expertise stems from our strong relationships with government, intimate knowledge of the public procurement process, and extensive public infrastructure development experience.

Through our strong relationships at all levels of government, we not only react to governmental intervention, but we also anticipate, strategically avoid, and when necessary, solve bureaucratic and legislative impasses to our clients’ commercial activities and provide our clients with a competitive advantage in their business ventures.

Our work includes:

  • Drafting legislation at the local and state levels
  • Lobbying for legislation at the local and state levels
  • Preparing and submitting responses to requests for proposals for governmental contracts
  • Managing and administrating the advocacy and compliance aspects of any public process

Our attorneys have handled virtually every type of public infrastructure project, including airports, rail stations, bridges, tunnels, highways, dams, stadiums, sports facilities, telecommunications facilities and desalination plants.

Our vast real estate experience has made us particularly adept at trouble-shooting issues that private contractors face when performing on public contracts.
