The Billing and Collections Specialist is a key member of the finance team, and is responsible for managing client billing and ensuring timely collection of payments for the firm. This position involves the completion of all facets of the billing and collections function and a variety of accounting duties following established policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with attorneys, legal assistants and clients to generate accurate and detailed bills, follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve billing inquiries. The role also demands a meticulous attention to detail, strong customer service skills and a deep understanding of legal billing processes and guidelines. This position is currently a hybrid role.
The Manager, Business Development collaborates with the Director, Client Development and the firm's attorneys to develop and implement the marketing and business development strategy and tactics for the Land Use, Environmental & Natural Resources (LUENR) and Bankruptcy, Receiverships & Creditors’ Remedies practices, as well as the Construction and Digital Infrastructure groups. The Manager proactively supports firmwide client service and client development initiatives by partnering with other team members to develop and execute business development strategies, provide day-to-day support and strategic guidance that advances business development goals and firm priorities, and enhance cross-selling opportunities for assigned groups. This position is currently a hybrid role.

The Word Processor supports both Transactional and Litigation practices, with responsibilities that include preparing and editing legal documents, spreadsheets, presentations and PDFs, formatting documents, troubleshooting document issues, and transcribing dictation. Our work environment is busy and collaborative, so adaptability, readiness to multitask and think critically, efficiency, close attention to detail, and a strong sense of teamwork are key qualities needed to thrive in this position. This position is currently designated as remote; however, work must be performed within the state of California. Employees are required to maintain a primary residence and work location in California.
The Real Estate Paralegal provides organizational and practice-specific support to attorneys in the Real Estate practice group throughout all stages of real estate transactions, from pre-closing through post-closing . The role requires a high level of professionalism, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in an organized, efficient manner. In addition, the Real Estate Paralegal supports the department by handling general administrative responsibilities and assisting with special projects as needed.
