Korinna "Kori" Anderson

Kori has experience securing discretionary approvals for a range of ground-up and converted developments, including mixed-use, multifamily, office, retail, and industrial projects. Her work spans throughout Los Angeles, Culver City, West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, and across Southern California.

Kori is adept at navigating complex California state laws, such as the Density Bonus Law, Housing Accountability Act, Senate Bill 79, Senate Bill 35, Assembly Bill 2011, Assembly Bill 1050, the California Coastal Act, the Subdivision Map Act and CEQA. She regularly engages with city staff and elected officials, including at public hearings, prepares and advises clients on entitlement applications and pre-acquisition analyses, and works closely with environmental consultants to prepare robust CEQA documents. Her experience includes work on marquee projects throughout the region, with a particular focus on urban infill projects, multifamily and mixed-use developments, retail, and out-of-home advertising.

While in law school, Kori won multiple competitions as a member of the nationally-ranked Berkeley Law mock trial team, provided pro bono legal services through the East Bay Community Law Center’s Housing Clinic, and completed internships with the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office and California’s Office of Planning and Research (now Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation). Prior to attending law school, she worked for a U.S. Congressman and for a national news magazine in Washington, D.C. She began her legal career at a top global litigation firm.
