Courtney is a real estate associate in the firm’s Century City office, where she advises clients on a wide range of transactional real estate matters with a focus on commercial leasing. She represents institutional investors and family-owned businesses in negotiating and drafting leases for industrial, office, retail, and mixed-use properties across the western United States. Courtney also works closely with senior partners to service Class-A office buildings with significant leasing activity, supporting landlords in managing large tenant rosters and high-demand leasing environments. In addition, she counsels property owners on day-to-day operational issues, including brokerage, property management, parking, and confidentiality agreements and helps clients proactively address conflicts before they develop into disputes.
A licensed California real estate broker, Courtney is a trusted advisor known for combining legal and business judgment to achieve her clients’ objectives. She has negotiated complex retail and office leases with national and international tenants, resolving issues with creative solutions while safeguarding her clients’ long-term interests.
Before joining the firm, Courtney pursued her J.D. in Loyola Law School’s four-year evening program while working full time in the wine industry and serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in dependency court.
Courtney is also deeply committed to pro bono work. As co-chair of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee, she continues her advocacy for foster children by coordinating and finalizing adoptions and resolving benefits matters. She also mentors junior attorneys in their pro bono engagements and helps lead a variety of firmwide initiatives.
