Associate

Grant is a real estate associate in the Orange County office, where he represents clients in complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, mortgage and mezzanine financings, and leasing matters.

Grant represents investors and developers in the purchase, sale, and financing of commercial properties across all asset classes, including office, industrial, retail, multifamily, and mixed-use developments. His practice covers the full lifecycle of a transaction, from due diligence to negotiating loan and purchase agreements, reviewing organizational documents, drafting resolutions, and coordinating with title companies to ensure smooth closings.

FINANCE

  • Advised a developer in connection with a $200 million construction loan for the development of a high-rise multifamily project in Seattle.
  • Represented a national multifamily developer in the refinancing of over $1 billion of debt secured by an eight-asset portfolio located in California and Illinois.
  • Counseled a joint venture in obtaining a $555 million construction loan for the development of a large-scale mixed-use project in Park City.
  • Represented a privately held real estate company in a $55 million hotel refinancing in Los Angeles.
  • Routinely advise an industrial developer on refinancings of industrial centers located throughout the United States.
  • Routinely represent family office in securing debt for retail shopping centers across California. 
  • Represented a developer in connection with a $210 million construction loan for the development of a high-rise multifamily project in Nashville.
  • Regularly represent a self-storage developer in financings nationwide totaling over $160 million.
  • Advise a prominent family office on acquisition financings and refinancings of multifamily and mobile home communities across California.
  • Routinely advise out-of-state counsel on California local law requirements in connection with real estate financings.

  • Represented a publicly traded real estate company in various portfolio dispositions across California.
  • Advise a real estate investment firm in connection with the acquisition and disposition of various industrial and logistics properties in multiple states.
