Rachel is a business litigation attorney who represents landlords, purchasers, sellers, and developers in complex commercial real estate matters, with a particular focus on landlord-tenant disputes. She has substantial experience prosecuting and defending high-stakes contract and partnership disputes on behalf of a diverse client base, including multinational corporations and closely held businesses.
Rachel manages all phases of litigation, from pre-suit evaluation and strategic counseling through pleadings, discovery, trial, and post-trial proceedings. She approaches each matter with a practical, results-driven mindset, working closely with clients to anticipate risks, streamline litigation, and achieve efficient, favorable outcomes. Rachel also has significant trial experience. Most recently, she second-chaired a bench trial resulting in a complete defense verdict in a breach of contract action. She has also played a key role in securing favorable outcomes in multiple jury trials, bench trials, and arbitrations.
In addition to her practice, Rachel maintains an active commitment to pro bono service and community engagement. She is the founder of a 501(c)(3) organization that provides stuffed animals to children in hospitals, and she regularly represents pro bono clients in matters including adoptions and fraud-related disputes.
Rachel received her J.D. from Loyola Law School, where she was a member of the Law Review. During law school, she authored a published article analyzing the constitutionality of recent legislation addressing compensation for student-athletes’ name, image, and likeness rights.
