Allen Matkins Attorney Crystal Lofing Named One of California's 'Five Associates to Watch' by the Daily Journal

LOS ANGELES – March 13, 2013 – Allen Matkins, a preeminent California-based real estate and full service business law firm, is pleased to announce that associate Crystal Lofing has been named one of California's "Five Associates to Watch" by the Los Angeles and San Francisco Daily Journal.

As part of its annual “20 Under 40” selection process that recognizes the top attorneys in California under the age of 40, the Daily Journal acknowledges five of California’s most promising associates in this prestigious list. Crystal was selected as one of the top associates out of hundreds of nominations.

During her six years at Allen Matkins, Crystal has been involved in many of California's high-profile real estate matters. Since 2010 she has closed more than $3 billion in commercial acquisitions and dispositions for some of the firm’s top clients, including Kilroy, Boston Properties and Hudson Pacific Properties. One of her many achievements in 2012 was managing the complex real estate negotiations of Frank McCourt’s $2.15 billion sale of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Last year Crystal was also named to Real Estate Forum’s 40 Under 40 list.

Prior to earning her juris doctor from Harvard Law School in 2006, Crystal received her Bachelor's degree in piano performance and music management, summa cum laude, from the University of the Pacific, and her Master's degree in piano performance from the prestigious Manhattan School of Music. She currently resides in West Hollywood with her husband Marc.
