Jonathan is a partner in the San Diego office. His practice focuses on real estate transactions, with an emphasis on commercial and industrial leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions.
With regard to acquisitions and dispositions, Jonathan represents both buyers and sellers by preparing and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, as well as other agreements related to closing and the ongoing maintenance and management of projects. For leasing, he represents both landlords and tenants by drafting and negotiating lease agreements and amendments, and related items such as broker agreements, easements, subordination, non-disturbance and attornment agreements, letters of intent and estoppel certificates.
Representative projects include mixed-use redevelopments, high-rise commercial buildings, industrial parks, and various classes of retail shopping centers located throughout the United States. Such matters have required management and coordination of real estate development teams on behalf of clients, which role entails close involvement with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
