The Allen Matkins/UCLA Anderson Forecast California Commercial Real Estate Survey tells us that after a predicted downturn in 2020, office space developers see a post-near recession demand surge that will improve rental and occupancy rates in 2022. All California markets are expected to improve, with the exception of Orange County as it is still struggling with an overhang of space and tepid job creation.
