Marshall Brozost was quoted in an article in Bisnow that delves into the New York Metropolitan Transit Authority's (MTA) plans to work closely with developers as part of its Zoning for Accessibility program. The program offers floor area bonuses in exchange for much-needed subway entrance and circulation upgrades. Developers can now opt in to working with the MTA through a simplified program that extends to high-density districts outside of Midtown.
Marshall said that the program has “become more a part of the development vocabulary in the last few years.” He also added that the process has become more institutionalized and “relatively user-friendly” for applicants.
