Allen Matkins Represents Joby Aviation in Strategic Partnership to Acquire Vertiport Sites in the United States.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – August 17, 2026 – Allen Matkins represented Joby Aviation, Inc., a California-based company developing electric air taxis for commercial passenger service, in a strategic partnership with Atoms, an industrial AI and infrastructure company, to acquire and develop vertiport sites in the United States. The companies will initially focus on Florida, New York, and Texas, the markets where Joby is preparing to launch early operations under the White House-backed eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP), as well as California.

Vertiports will operate as multimodal transportation hubs where electric aircraft, autonomous ground vehicles, and ridesharing converge, anchored by on-site power for charging and operations.
